Jury for Brandon Vandenburg’s upcoming trial to be chosen in Memphis

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – News 2 has learned jury selection for former Vanderbilt football player Brandon Vandenburg will be held in Memphis.
Once jurors are selected, they will be brought to Nashville to hear the case, which is set to begin June 13.

The trial is expected to last between four to six days.
A status hearing will be held on Friday in Nashville. Vandenburg, who currently lives in California, is not required to attend.
The former Vanderbilt student is accused of raping an unconscious woman inside an on campus dorm in June 2013.
